Man what can I say about this one that hasn't been said? Picked it up when I saw it at goodwill a few days ago and worth every cent. I've watched it quite a few times and really reminds me of a great childhood full of movies like this and Disney. Really miss when Pokemon had a more handrawn feel to it, like this movie. Had some great quotes that no character remembers *sigh* thanks mew for the memory wipe and ash age fuel

Well I meant to say, "What good things can I say about this one that hasn't been said already?". I mean as a kid this movie was epic and even still it's a great movie to rewatch. I'm glad I go tit and even more glad that when I do watch tv they aren't wearing it out like disney wears out all their new movies now a days(I know cn wears out movies but they usually aren't in essence theirs)Luke wrote:darsparx wrote:Pokemon the first movie: mew vs mew two

So...you're saying this movie is worth twenty-five cents?darsparx wrote:Pokemon the first movie: mew vs mew two.

I am imagining the mechanic poking his head into the waiting room to let you know he has replaced your fan belt. He looks up to see what you're watching on TV, and his eyes go wide with wonder. Go Pikachu!but a great watch all in all especially when waiting on car maintenance to be done
I'm glad you go tit, too. In my opinion, going tit is the only way to go.I'm glad I go tit
I'm just trolling you, brother. Please don't take too much offense; it's all in good fun.

Is it the first Pokemon movie where Ash comes back to life because of Pokemon tears? Always gives me a chuckle.

I don't go tit. I'm an ass man, myself.
Anyway, recently watched Oliver & Company (repeat view) with the girlfriend, and Dario Argento's Inferno (first view) with an old friend.
O&C has such a great soundtrack. Probably one of the best out of all the Disney flicks. Of course, I like me some Billy Joel, so that probably has an effect.
Inferno is Argento at his peak of exploring pure cinematic style over substance. The lighting and camera work in this one is magnificent and artful. The story is ridiculous and the acting is atrocious. I love Italian horror cinema for these very discrepancies, so this was a very enjoyable watch. Not to mention the insane Keith Emerson soundtrack—although it still doesn't quite measure up to Goblin's work, it's wild in its own right.

Have you explored Mario Bava's filmography? If not, you should. Although some of his later films are terrible, he remains my favorite director of Italian horror films.TSTR wrote:I love Italian horror cinema for these very discrepancies, so this was a very enjoyable watch.

I haven't yet; though Black Sabbath, Twitch of the Death Nerve, Blood and Black Lace, The Whip and the Body, and Shock are all on my radar. Any others I should look out for?prfsnl_gmr wrote:Have you explored Mario Bava's filmography? If not, you should.
