Cause us Michiganders and Texans are awesome! Speaking of which..us Michiganders need to meet up again!
Totally! I'll be in the state until the third week of August, so maybe Michigan's Racketeers could arrange a meetup sometime this summer?

Them's fightin' words.
I was taught that if your barbecue needs sauce, you can't cook. End of story.

That's why I balk everytime someone says Blackies is the best barbecue in Lockhart.

I would agree! Detroit has a great barbecue place that requires no sauce, but is provided at the table if needed. Many people who say you need barbecue sauce are the same who are afraid to eat, "The Burnt Parts," of a good brisket.

Austin is great! The traffic is super annoying but other than that, it's one of my favorite places. I live in San Antonio, a couple hours south, but I get up that way whenever I have a decent excuse. Enjoy!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I know a lot of you are from around there, got any sage advice on places to eat/visit/hike? Also totally looking for a place to live, so if you know of anyone with shared space, I'd really appreciate being put in touch with them.
