What is fun is fun. My 11 year old brother-in-law is very proud of his retro moniker (although he did get some thick rimmed glasses...worried about his hipster levels!). The kid himself went searching for deals and scrounged up an N64 with the Atomic Orange controller and a handful of AAA titles for $15 and lost his mind with joy.
He also has a WiiU which he plays religiously, but he has no qualms with playing old games, as long as they are GOOD old games. He isn't going to waste his time with his copy of Madden on the N64, but he will spend his time with Star Fox 64, Mario Tennis, Pokemon Stadium, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie etc.
I am hooking him up with Morrowind. He is getting old enough to start the journey into the Elder Scrolls games and will be putting pictures up soon I hope!
