Cleaning/Replacing the Sega Genesis pin connector?
Cleaning/Replacing the Sega Genesis pin connector?
So I'm cleaning my Genesis right now, I took it all apart, got all the age old dust and grime out, and now it's looking good as new and I got the "Restart" button to work again, so that's AMAZING! So while I'm at it, how would I clean the pin connector were the games go in? I don't wanna damage anything...

I would just use a can of compressed air and call it a day. Maybe a tooth brush if there's stuff on it.

Looks like that would be the way to go. I'll do it some time later, thanks.GSZX1337 wrote:I would just use a can of compressed air and call it a day. Maybe a tooth brush if there's stuff on it.
I know, Tails looks so cute. I use this as my avatar for everything, and every time I see it it just makes me so happy.ThunderPrince wrote:looking at your avatar, damn, the old school sonic character art makes them look ADORABLE

You could try folding over an index card, dipping it in very pure isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, and inserting it repeatedly as if it was a cartridge. That might do it.
