Sega CD Model 1 Power Supply Questions

So, I have a sega CD model 1 that I am looking to fix up and get running. The problem is I do not have the proper adapter. I have an NES A/C that outputs at 1.3A.

Would this be a problem with using this adapter over the actual Sega CD adapter?

NES is AC, Genesis/SCD needs DC. Don't use it, you'll just end up blowing the fuse.

As AQ mentioned, a Genesis model 1 adapter will work, but from what I've read, don't try model 2 or 3 adapters (if they even fit).

It needs to be 9V and at least 1.2 Amp. You can buy a universal ac adapter that can match the specs and plug but sometimes they aren't shielded well and can cause interference. I'd get an official one if it were me. They aren't too pricey.

Never use a NES brick on anything but a NES. They output AC. Just about everything, save some older weirder stuff from the 70s and older require DC. AC into a DC device usually equals fireworks.

This is why I asked! I figured since I was messing with Electricity, SOMETHING would go awry if I didn't ask. Gonna check me some flea markets this weekend just for kicks and then will order it on ebay if nothing pops up. Thank you everyone for the help!
