I've been playing Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. I've never played any of the games in this sub-series before. I downloaded it on the Wii U eShop. It looks pretty damn good, considering it's a GBA game. I'm less than an hour into it so far. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

I was coming here to make a similar post, except I have the GBA cartridge. If you play through the Gamecube's Game Boy Player, it supports the GC controller's rumble feature, which is a feature you don't see in many GBA games.

Even though it was developed by a third-party company, it's got that Nintendo mark all over it. Lots of callbacks to previous games in the Mario series, and combat reminiscent of Super Mario RPG. I stopped for now just after completing all the Border Jumps.

Playing Rogue Galaxy at the moment. Only about 4 hrs in, but have enjoyed it so far. Loving the battle system.

I could never get too into the Mario & Luigi RPG games. Super Mario RPG ruined that genre for me haha (as in, no comparison. I love SMRPG and it had a really cool story).

Currently on a second run-through of Crimson Shroud on 3DS, and yesterday managed to pick up a new copy of Pandora's Tower (regular edition) for 30EUR, which is cheaper than i had seen it new online, so pretty pleased. Played about 1.5 hours last night, and am pretty impressed so far.

So I've (re)played Ys I, II, and III this year. Seems like the next logical choice is...

I'll be starting tonight. Had the clean the hell out of it to get it to work with my Retron 5. A finicky system, it is. My SNES would have said "meh" and booted it up no problem.

I have a bunch of stuff on deck. I'd like to get through a few Game Gear RPGs before the batteries die, for starters. Also on deck is the early Seiken Densetsu games, some more Final Fantasy, and the Heaven and Earth trilogy. Won't play through all of them this year, but I can start.
