Dead Island was some of the most boring shit ever. I'm more than just a little sick of zombies too.

So glad I discovered tcp :D definitely getting some of these later on(and some ds ones from nintendo)
Yeah those are freakin awesome. I will buy anything ShadowFox makes after getting my hands on those.
Wow, I'm tempted to snag a set of those for my GB/GBC games that are currently in modded DS cases (remove the bottom of the GBA slot and it's not 100% keeping games clipped in). I wish he also had a mold for GG games, since that requires much more extensive modding of a DS case and it really doesn't hold anything in place properly; it's just better than nothing.
I cannot recommend the cases enough.

GB/GBC fits perfectly. GBA fits better in those than it does in cheap fake DS cases that you find on Amazon. Lynx fits perfectly. NGPC fits... reasonably. Better than they do in standard DS cases at least.

If you look at the other threads ShadowFox has on the site, he's intending to do damn near everything eventually, but obviously he can't do all of them out of pocket. His intent is to get his next mold done once he's recouped cost from the GB/GBC mold.

I believe his next mold is going to be a perfect replica of Genesis clamshells, but he's also being badgered to do Game Gear (has talked about that at length trying to figure out what size to make them), and has expressed interest in replica Saturn/SegaCD longboxes, NES-specific cases in the style of UGCs, a UGC replacement in different colors... He said he sent his mold makers a "care package" of materials for his next Eight! molds. If he manages to make even half of them at the quality the GB/GBC cases are, I'll be thrilled.

Tell you what. I want the dude to succeed and make his money back so he can make more cases. I ordered 50 but have barely used half of them.

Anyone who thinks they might order those GB/GBC cases but wants to put their hands on one before they pull the trigger, I will mail you one of my spares, gratis. Just PM me. Only thing I ask is if you like them, order some from ShadowFox!
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

Man...after looking my gba's I got in the mail I think I need to replace the lens on the one I'm dead set on using(because it actually has a battery cover on it, the other doesn't and a swap doesn't work because it doesn't stay on). But I'm really half tempted once I see how things are going to work out this month to put a light in them, even if that was the intent originally. Anyone know what the best(and cheapest one) to keep a eye on would be?

(and darn all of you for persuading me to get a original gba in the first place, it may not be lit but man do I have to agree that it feels nice to hold)

Would it be safe to say that something is wrong with a gba cart if when playing it, it glitches out with text then basically crashes and makes a bunch of the glitchy noises you can hear from a gba from time to time?

I actually found that game to fun and interesting. DR2 is a pretty good sandbox in comparison to it competitors such as GTA. DR3 was just horrible though. To each his own.

Hmm. Could I run RPGs like Icewind Dale and such on dosbox on an OXbox? I'm thinking of grabbing one when I go off to college, and I'm trying to think of all the things I could emulate.

I might have a PS3 loaded with emulators instead, not sure. I would still like online functionality on my PS3 though...

Icewind Dale isn't a DOS game, dawg. I believe the last D&D DOS game is Ravenloft: Stone Prophet.

Most of those games weren't designed with controllers in mind anyway - use your PC.

Well, screwed that up.

Didn't figure it'd be easy to play with a controller, just thinking on my toes. Looking at it though, I guess there's a lot of clicking, so a controller just doesn't make sense.
