I woke up, realized it was a dream.
It's gonna be 5-0.

lol, this is like the 4th penalty shout out so far, you missed all of the previous ones?Aramonde wrote:Finally got to see a game end with penalty kicks! It was pretty hype just like a hockey shootout, but with more goals

Still did better than you guys in 3/5 of the last major tournaments.

Somehow this is true. Dammit, Zero you're gonna get me ranting about England again.ZeroAX wrote:Sload Soap wrote: Edit: This is chucklesome.![]()

So I will tactfully change the subject to how the general public now seems to hate Brazil. Fickle.
Re: World Cup 2014!
LOL 5-1 Brazil. No way. Germany and Brazil will be close, especially with Neymar Jr. and Thiago Silva out now. To Germany though! And Aramonde, yep that was the third game that's ended in penalties. Amazing to think 6 games have gone with extra time, too.
Chile vs. Brazil
Costa Rica vs. Netherlands
Greece vs. Costa Rica
I honestly don't think Netherlands will be able to stack up against Argentina in the semi's, unless Argentina is unable to defend Robben the way Costa Rica did yesterday. They severed a lot of his involvement in play.

Over at NeoGAF people were predicting a 5-0 Colombia blowout against Brazil.Sload Soap wrote:So I will tactfully change the subject to how the general public now seems to hate Brazil. Fickle.
I don't get how people don't hate Argentina. They are so easy to hate.

I'm not overly fond of Argentina for obvious reasons. I love Aguero, Zabaleta and Demichelis though.jfrost wrote: Over at NeoGAF people were predicting a 5-0 Colombia blowout against Brazil.

I do enjoy watching Messi. He just has that extra intangible quality other players don't have. I'll admit he's not Maradona gifted but then who is?
As for Brazil, I think casual football observers are having a disconnect about what they think they know about Brazil and how they actually play. Tougher, more abrasive, goals from set-pieces. That and the ref seems to favour them which ALWAYS happens to the host nation. Exhibit A.

I once heard someone say that an Argentinian is an Italian who speaks Spanish and thinks he's British. I'm guessing it wasn't someone from Argentina.ZeroAX wrote:Well they have the biggest European community in south America so they have too many relatives back in the old world![]()
Dunno why you have to support anyone. Just sit back and enjoy the football.ZeroAX wrote:hm....I could also support Argentina since they are a fellow bankrupt country and they just got charged with paying more debt
