So, I'm making some good headway into The Witcher 2 on 360. Love this game to death and now I actually have the attention span to beat it! Holds up pretty well to the PC version (which I own and can't download *grumble*). Probably the best conversion of a PC game onto a console I have played. Once I got into the swing of finding/making new equipment all the time it became a lot less difficult and tedious.

Unlike Starlancer on Dreamcast. What a handful. Not sure I'll finish it. Great game but the complexity of it is just too much for that dinky controller.

Also playing Persona 4 off and on. I love it to death but I find it to be one of those games where I play a bit irregularly. I guess that makes it perfect for the Vita.

I'm in the middle of a season in NBA 2k12, I just started Legend of Dragoon (rescued Shana from Hellena Prison), and am chipping away at Tomba!, although I can't figure out where the hell to go ;_;

There's just some characters that would be amazing to play as, and those multi-character games are just not very good. I would love, for example, a Silver Surfer game. And a Green Lantern game would be insane. It makes me feel like, the closest we'll ever get to a Green Lantern game that anyone would actually want to play is Wonderful 101.
Disney Interactive needs to make high quality X-men games, Star Wars games and Tron games. If they don't, at least give the franchise to someone who will make them high quality.
Oh, you mean like how they sold exclusive game rights of Star Wars to EA? Because when has EA ever squandered a franchise license before?

And I agree. I desperately want amazing X-Men games.

I'm so pissed that X-Men Origins is like the best we've gotten. That should be the worst X-Men or Wolverine game we've ever gotten.

I'm not sure Disney actually wants to make games to begin with. If they did, they have a funny way of showing it. They shut down all the Disney Interactive studios with the entire branch, prior to making Disney Infinity. And they were producing pretty good games. We got Split/Second out of there, as well as the Epic Mickey games. Which weren't ground breaking or phenomenal, but they weren't bad.

@graffix_13 I can't even remember the end of the game now. I thought fighting the Sentinel was pretty awesome. There needed to be more of that.

It just pains me ... pains me so. That I've been waiting SO long for one of these games ... and it just never comes together right. We only get hints at what could be.

Well and we also got spectrobes which aren't half bad especially the ds games even though I wish they'd put more thought into the graphics

Started Metroid Prime (Gamecube) on Saturday. I'm not a big Metroid fan and I've only played Super Metroid just last year. But right now Prime is my favorite Metroid. Fun game!

Had a boring weekend at the inlaws to contend with, so I made do with Android gaming on my phone. Turns out Ravensword: Shadowlands is actually rather good. I'd describe it as "pocket Skyrim", though the game's a bit more linear and confined than a real Elderscrolls game. I haven't beat it yet, but I plan to, and that's the first time I can say that for a mobile game.

Turned my FFXI accounts back on to try some of the stuff they've added over the past year or so. Not exactly playing much else as per usual with this game

On the other hand, if anyone is looking to try it out (I know a few voted for it in Together Retro), I can certainly help.

I'm mostly playing indie stuff right now.

I'm playing through Steamworld Dig and Dust an Elysian Tale. I'm way late to the party on those game but they are great so far!

Meanwhile, the recent summer sales at GOG and Steam have been HORRIBLE for my backlog... (both Witcher games, original Far Cry, Borderlands 2, Europa Universalis IV, SPAZ, and so on, and so on).
Have: Sega Genesis, SNES, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari 800XL, PC, N3DS XL, Wii U, GBA, Xbox One, Switch

I am doing it! I am going to go through the entire american catalog for Sega CD games and complete them all. Yes, even the dreaded FMV games like Corpse Killer, Sewer Shark and Supreme Warrior! Some of the games will be emulated, while many will be played from my hopefully fixed Sega CD (Working on it). In the worst case scenario, I can get them playing on my emulator straight from the disc!

About half way through 3 Ninjas! Poor Victor Wong makes appearances as a floating FMV head that gives advice and help in getting through the levels. Priceless.
