I think this is also true with France vs. Germany. France has let in some goals, but Germany has also not looked the strongest either. I'm hoping it will make for two exciting matches!
I'm really rooting for Colombia but I don't see Brazil losing to them. The only teams remaining in the tournament that can take Brazil out feel to be France, Germany and the Netherlands.

Sorry mate, as a person from a fellow country that overpaid for a sports event which led to the suffering of normal people while corrupt politicians and construction firms got rich as fuck, I want you guys to FAIL hard so the politicians won't get the heat off their backs  (yes I let even world politics get in the way of which team I support, that's why I was rooting against Russia the most  )

Don't worry. The footballing gods are on your side.

As I said earlier, Colombia are a good team but they haven't had a test like Brazil yet.

Germany V France has become bitty now. The ref is blowing for anything and the neither side can gather any momentum. I thought France would make more use out of the ball over the top but since the break haven't really attempted that.

Edit: Having said that I've been very wrong so far when predicting games.

This game is about as bad as the Germany with amount of diving, whistleblowing, and everything else. Seriously, the whistle blows blows like every 30 seconds.

Oh please. A yellow was good.

But yes, this ref is complete shit. Neymar got an MMA finishing move, was taken out on a stretcher and the foul was not even called.

Brazil dominated today, played much, much better. Colombia did nothing. Brazil had been criticized the whole tournament for subpar performances. Today, they did great. :D

The Germany-France game was shit because France didn't have any urgency at all. They were walking on the field on the 85th minute, as if they didn't have to get a goal desperately.

This France team is so juvenile it kinda reminded me of Brazil 2006, when they were the best team in the world by far, but then lost to France in the quarter finals and everyone was laughing, shaking hands with Zidane, not affected in the least by what had happened. Dunga took over because of that bullshit.

Great game marred by another dodgy bout of officiating. This time though the ref let too much go. There should have been half a dozen bookings in the first half alone.

It's a good win for Brazil and I think they deserved it. People continue to underestimate this team at their peril. They aren't the Brazil of 70 or 82 or even 02. But they have home advantage, they have goals in them and they have passion.

That said, if there is one national team that gives zero fucks about any of that it's Germany.

There's no obligation to Brazil anymore, as any team can win and it wouldn't be surprising. Germany is huge, just like Italy.

Pressure is off now, there can be no upsets.

I would normally bet on Germany, but this is the Germany that has struggled so much during this tournament, it's weird.
