Nano Assault Neo looks great but I'm waiting for it to go on sale again.

How have I not heard of this game? After reading a few reviews and viewing the game on Youtube, I'm convinced. I just bought it now!

So the Mrs. and I play a lot of Wii/WiiU games co-op and we really liked Donkey Kong Returns for the Wii. Yeah we lost a lot of lives but probably got past 4 or 5 stages.

Finally jumped in on Tropical Freeze and is the difficulty in this one jacked up or what? We essentially tapped out after trying to get past the Rhino stage in 2-2 (the last portion specifically). Maybe it is user error but I found running and jumping with the rhino to be stalled. You'd jump and lose all your momentum when you landed.

Game is a beauty and I'm all for a challenge but this one was a lot more frustrating than the Wii game.

I loved Tropical Freeze but I can't imagine trying to play it in co-op. It just sounds frustrating.

Though I never found the game too hard in single player myself.

I think the difficulty curve is a lot steeper in the original DKCR, but yeah I'd say they were probably about equal in difficulty for me. One thing I liked was that TF gave you two hits for the rocket barrel levels, when those were kind of a pain in the first game. TF's levels are much larger and the water levels got pretty tough, but DKCR got pretty crazy with the last two worlds or so and tons of cliffs.

But it always felt doable. The difficulty in these was perfect to me. Fast paced and you learn from your mistakes.

Yeah I played the first two worlds with my brother and then later 100%'ed everything by myself. Much easier to play this one solo.

It's definitely a solid challenge comparing it to many other platformers these days but it's difficulty is definitely a little overblown. The temple levels would be the only levels I'd classify as 'hard'

What is that "confirmation" worth? Who knows. But it's enough to keep my hopes alive for now. Nintendo's messaging has been all over the place so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I reallly really hope it comes on a disc. The japanese and european releases are confirmed to have two discs so it'd be a massive shame to have NoA do the opposite.

So was there a demo of Bayonetta 2 playable at E3 (by attendees, that is)? I've not read hands-on impressions by anyone who can put the engine through its paces, and I am starting to wonder if the inclusion of Bayonetta 1, the included Nintendo costumes, etc. are all more or less a diversion from a game that might be having issues…

Yes it was playable. Various video game new outlets reported on it. All I have read has been very positive.

Why the negative assumptions?
