Thanks duders.

I can already feel a change. Dimes not nickels at that.

I can keep food down, and my abdominal pain is super gone. I also now know exactly what " a weight of your chest" feels like. Crazy to say, but this is better than learning I didn't have cancer. How balls crazy is that?

So, what did I learn?

Good question, me.

The desk has two sides. It is your responsibility to interview your interviewer more than they interview you. It is your grind, your hustle, and it isn't about getting a job, it's about you getting the right career. And yeah, the economy is tough, but value yourself more than the job you accept.

I'm cocksure, but when I see $ I lose sight. I'm a dumb dumb for that. I need to place more value on myself and not be (my buddy called me this) a "Paper chaser".

Can't wait to fill you guys in with great news.

Aren't I supposed to be on a rb podcast? Sup with that?

MrPopo wrote: Ehhh... I doubt that'll be a fruitful endeavor. It sounds like the reason they fired you was "we think Luke is an asshole", which is fine, since you obviously think your boss is an asshole. But that's not wrongful termination.

Now, if it had been because you weren't willing to participate in the company beefcake calendar, then you'd have a case.

But it's good to see you're not too concerned about this. You should have no problems finding a new job.
I agree.

But no doubt, my boss was an asshole. My co-workers agree, which helps as they're writing lors.

I'll be good.

Good for you, Luke. I hope you gain back some of the weight you lost.

I'm so sick and tired of everything--my job, my home, my woman, my life. My depression is getting worse and worse all the time. I think about suicide every single day. I want to see a professional, but the DHHR denied my application for insurance coverage earlier this year. I still have no health insurance of any kind. Metronews published a story yesterday that demonstrates how well the DHHR addresses psychological problems:

I really need to leave this crummy state. I wish I could find a job somewhere else where I could put my multimedia skills to good use.

kinda knew you'd probably start feeling better once you either left or were fired from that job. I almost thought that was coming but hey at least you have options...maybe the unemployment won't be so long ;)

Sounds like you might need to just get away for a week or so. Is a vacation possible? It helps to come back to everything after a break. Fresh perspective FTW (in life).

Man, Luke. Not sure to say "sorry" or shout "hooray!" in this situation. Hope it's for the better and you can chill out for a bit instead of letting the stress destroy you.

:| What a boring day this has become.

Glad you're free of the tyranny Luke. I'm sure you'll get things back in order.

Samson, see if you can get a break as someone mentioned. I'm off this week, and though it has become a staycation due to me not finding anything worthwhile to get away doing and nobody to go do it with, but even just as a break it has helped my misery level. Also if you can, at least find someone to unload at even if they just listen. It helps sometimes. :)

Luke, that's good news. It's just about the best way it could have ended. If you have hard documentation of all the fuckery, even better.
