Speaking of Catherine, I just got this game and am hooked. I love weird, off the beaten path games like this but holy shit is this hard. Even on easy it has me raging like a 10 year old on COD. As much as I want to hate this game for the hard puzzles I can't. In the end, watching the story develop further makes it worthwhile. I plan on playing Demon Souls after this so I guess this could be called conditioning. :P

Yeah nothing prepares you for Demon's Souls.

Just a tip with Demon's - lighter is better. Don't load yourself up on the best and heaviest armor because you'll just end up getting smashed to pieces if you can't roll and dodge quickly. It's an amazing game, top three of the entire generation for me, so have fun with it!

Yeah, armor in Demon's is basically pointless, instead focus on status resistance. Dark Souls makes wearing a huge set of armor worthwhile with poise and a general increase in the amount of damage armor can absorb. Dark Souls 2 pulls it back a bit, so the heaviest armor doesn't provide enough benefit to justify the stat cost.

So I decided to look up the ratings for advance guardian heroes....was not disappointed. That game just wasn't fun at the 65% is a fairly fitting rating  Just way too many things i found wrong with that game especially on easy and medium...

Damn, been in one of those really weird ruts for probably a week now. I'm really in the mood to play something... but nothing is resonating with me haha. I keep trying game after game and it's just not happening. Gotta keep going until one finally clicks...

Ever happen to you guys? Usually I'll alternate with my hobbies and might be more in the mood to watch more anime or something, but now I really want to play something good but nothing is pulling me in. lol

Happens to me a fair bit. The last year or more really, collecting/displaying has been more my hobby than actually playing (thus my love of The Cover Project). I played Suikoden recently and enjoyed it, but it didn't suck me in like it would have 5 years ago. Dunno, tastes change I guess.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

Ummmm...just watched a video on the rarest games in existence and saw the artwork for Stadium Events on the NES.

umm....I had a friend in middle school who had that game. I could be confused by the rebrand, but I swear the artwork was Stadium Events. I wish I could look him up, but he seems to be off the radar. Would love to confirm my memory.
