What I find the most funny about this thread is that Racketboy has always been seen as a haven for Sega fans and super heavy Sega bias. But apparently we are Nintendo bias now...

My Wiiu is gonna get the paces next week when we are on vacation. I am taking my Wiiu and Wii (mostly since the Wii is used as an NES in the car - screen and 12v power plug).

Saying it doesn't make it true though. I wouldn't call dsheinem, noiseredux, Jmustang, Hobie, BoneSnap, emwarez, or myself Nintendo fanboys. I'm sure there are others I'm not thinking of. I almost always buy all the consoles and I'll play wherever the fun games are in genres I like.

I was just making a point, not stating it as fact.

Sorry, I know. I probably shouldn't have quoted you.

That is one thing I'm not liking with Nintendo right now, they seem to really be pushing for digital... and they give us a 32GB HDD?

There is no HDD included with the console. They put 32GB of flash memory in it, and made it really easy for any one to expand with USB. The cost of the console is less for all those people that will never need more storage. It's also less for the people that might get a HDD down the road, but at potentially much cheaper prices (than what would have been included with the console).

When talking about digital purchases, their bigger problem IMO is the way purchases work. No user IDs, purchases are tied to a console and not an account, all the negative things that go along with that.

I'm late to the party but Nano Assault Neo ($10 -eShop) is a great WiiU shooter, very much in the vein of Super Stardust HD.

I haven't picked up Nano Assault for the 3DS (you can find it for $5 new) because Nano Assault EX is supposedly a worthy upgrade (and eShop only) but the entire series is perking my interest at the moment.

edit: one note though - was disappointed this title doesn't work with the WiiU Pro Controller!
