Resident Evil 4 is the only playable game in the entire series. Come at me bros.

This thread seems to have slowed down some. I have to say I'm somewhat at fault. I've put my list on an indefinite hiatus. Finishing 7 out of 10 games is solid though, and I may just let the other three roll into next year.

I have been absolutely terrible with this so far. I need to get back into it. I'd like to get at least halfway through. There's still time, though.

Playing Silent Hill 3 as we speak, but I keep taking breaks because it's scurry :(

Ugh, my days off have been so busy as of late that I've barely gotten anywhere on my game list. I have been playing a good amount of Cave Story 3D. I've been told this is an "inferior port" of the original, but I still find it really enjoyable. A lot more than I thought I was, actually.

I've been delayed a bit myself, between going on vacation for a week and working on Eye of the Beholder for Together RPG.

I will get back to it though. Before I left on my trip, I started up both Ico (nice visuals, but otherwise meh so far) and Earthbound (better) and I'm excited to get going again one I complete EOTB.

On another note, a friend of mine was generous enough to loan me his copy of Valkyrie Profile, and I'd really like to play that, partially because I'm nervous about having such an expensive game that belongs to someone else, so I can get it back to him quickly.

I may replace something on my list for it (one of the three that I haven't started, which would be SOTN, Metroid Prime, or RE2) or add it outright and go for 11 games like I did last year.

We'll see.

It will pick back up when I finally beat R-Type Delta and Nectaris: Military Madness (i.e., August).

The more Silent Hill 3 I play, the more impressed I get - this is seriously one of the best horror games going. The atmosphere, environment, and sound are done so perfectly, everything seems like it was crafted with care. I'm about halfway through and I'm having a hard time deciding which game is better, SH2 or SH3. Thumbs up.

Spent this evening playing Bangai-O, and took out the first 25 levels, which is a little over half. I'm sure the length and difficulty of the remaining ones will mean they take a bit longer though.

The game is fun, although it's not as good as it's successor on DS: Bangai-O Spirits.

The translation is awful, and the story being translated is already clearly nonsensical, so it's doubly weird. It adds a lot of charm to procedings.

I miss some mechanics from bangai o spirits - no dash attack, no multiple weapon options (although you still get two at least), no hovering in place, no directional charge shots.

It still never gets old seeing my dreamcast slowdown as 400 missiles fill the screen, although I thought the effect was more impressive on DS where 100 MASSIVE missiles filled the screen causing it to slow down to barely a frame a second. That's probably just the hardware in that case though

You should be playing it on a superior piece of hardware - the Nintendo 64!
