Robben was tripped but made overdid it a bit for the penalty. That said, he should have had one earlier on when he was double crunched. Mexico were obviously terrified of him and you could see it coming.

The momentum is building behind Brazil now both off and on the pitch. They're winning games without being exceptional. Colombia have a talented side but haven't had a proper test yet. Brazil win for me.

And our commentary is beyond awful. The guy tonight couldn't even pronounce substitute correctly. Kept saying Sub-Ee-Tute. And the analysis is poor.

I think if you're looking at it from a cumulative standpoint, yes. That individual incident alone, I don't think so. He clearly sold it and appealed to the referee's sympathies. It was certainly softer than the first two fouls. Rafa Marquez should've been a little bit more disciplined to say the least.

I just don't see how Brazil grinds it out without being exceptional. I know they'll be somewhat fatigued, even with the break until the 4th of July for their next match. Colombia is catching fire too, so it will certainly be an exciting match. How has Henry's commentary been on BBC?

Henry is laid back to the point of being a bit dour. To be honest though, when the analysis starts that's usually my cue to make a cup of tea or let the cat out.

On Brazil, one key thing is they have goals coming in from across the pitch. They aren't totally reliant on Neymar. Colombia however would be much much weaker without James Rodriguez. That and in the last 20 mins against a very ordinary Uruguay team they looked nervous.

Nice to watch, but probably not able to grind it out is my summation of Colombia.

Tomorrow will probably be the most predictable outcomes of the top 16 (France and Germany). But the quarter final game against those too will be really interesting. It's a shame they are meeting so early though.

It really is. I wish it'd be in the Semifinals at least, but that's what happens when their groups are so close to one another. Algeria could surprise, but I highly doubt it. Nigeria I don't see being much of a challenge though for France.
