Hmm, not sure if you are talking to me, but I've played 80+ hours of Borderlands 2 and beat Borderlands 1 as well. I consider B2 one of my faves of all time…

And as much as I love Borderlands, Bioshock trumps it in both story-telling and atmosphere.

seriously, wtf? I'm at that first real battle in Ep1 and I've got almost no health and no bullets. It kind of sucks. I feel like I'll have to backtrack to look for stuff. :\

I found that i relied on melee a lot more…and am doing so in the first hour or so of Ep 2 as well (which has a stellar opening). Persevere, dude.

Oh - one more thing…did you ever beat Bioshock? Because really, beating that game is a precedent for these the way it isn't for Infinite. Ep 2 starts with a spoliery recap of Bioshock 1 (which you can skip) but which is, I assume, quite key to the story as it unfolds.

tldr: finish Bioshock 1 first, then get back to these.

I think the big thing is that you only get two reloads max for your weapons, so it's really easy to blow through your ammo without realizing it.
