New Futurama Starts Tonight!

It really didn't feel like a final episode at all. I enjoyed it though, but it felt like a regular episode. I really like Futurama, but I don't want it to keep going on and on until it stops being good. If a show ends and you miss it, that's a good thing.

Yeah, that was kinda my reaction to it. It wasn't an epic ending like Into the Wild Green Yonder (which was a possible end to the series) but I thought it was rather nice.

If they stop now, I'd be cool with that. I would love to see another season or two, I don't think they've gone stale yet, but if this is where it ends than I'm fine with it. We got the four movies and four seasons after the original cancellation, that's more than enough for me.

Amazon has the full Futurama box set for just $64 right now.

I don't know how much it goes for normally, but $64 seems cheap considering it's all 8 seasons and 4 movies. If you were to buy the 8 volumes plus 4 movies all separately, and pay $64 total, you'd spend just $5.33 on each piece. They all go for ~$15 each. So this is a steal if you need the entire set.

Yeah, I was tempted but the reviews suggest that it is pretty poorly made and might ruin the discs.

The volumes that they've been putting out are all paper. All the discs are in sleeves, so they have to be slid in and out. That's probably what they're talking about, I would imagine. I'm not a fan of that myself.

Those calenders are awesome though. I especially love the 3014 year one.
