 Why do my friends think I'm the one to come to for relationship advice. I mean, really.

:( Long distance relationships freaking suck. Especially with a girl who has a very different idea of how much contact is enough. We've discussed it before, but it's all about finding a happy medium. Unfortunately, she's currently having issues with her roommate so is rarely at home to talk via Skype (our main mode of conversation) and doesn't always have her cell phone on her -- plus she doesn't text, so that makes things more difficult anyway.

Every email we've exchanged recently (not that there's been that many) have been littered with "I miss you" and "I love you" and apologies for how crazy things have been the last couple weeks, and the last time I saw her she was every bit as affectionate as she always is, so the logical part of my brain knows I really have nothing to worry about, but it still sucks.

The ILLOGICAL part of my brain, well that part has approximately zero self-esteem and thinks that I don't deserve such an awesome girl so this is how she's secretly breaking up with me, but a: We're adults, adults don't do that and b: See previous statement about how the logical part knows better

Still sucks though and I hope it can get a little better soon.

Questions masks duder.

Probably because of all your bad experiences and they can confide in you.

Anytime someone asks for advice, you either give it to them or get back to them when you think you can help.

Having friends ask you advice on anything is awesome as they see you as a person of knowledge and value.

Don't shrug off the super huge compliment that they want to know what you think.

Frown: Lost a disc playing disc golf. I need a "floater" (which sounds gross).

Smile: I shot 9 under par, and this course is ruthless. Best disc golf performance of my life.

I'm only there to have fun with buddies and get a bit of exercise, but when I nail thirty foot putts I do go guano crazy (guano is bat shit if you didn't know).

This course is a pain in the butt (hence the lost disc) as it's full of streams. Some dude actually makes some serious clams by fishing out discs and selling them to a local "Plat It Again" store.

But it was good to kill and own the course (besides the lost disc of course).

My approach is very conservative, and my friends cal me "The skipper" as almost always I go straight down the fairway and my disc skips another straight ten to twenty feet. Not even sure how I do it, it's just how it happens with my throw. And I also don't put much "punch" in my throw, but it works.

But the team I play with...they stretch, have wind ups, and throw the crap out of their discs. Once in a while they make a gorgeous throw that has to go at least 100 feet tall and arcs perfectly. It's an awesome sight to see what they can do, and I "get it" so to speak as my slap shot while playing hockey is full throttle, but no way am I going to risk not making par.

Maybe I got lucky today. Well, I probably did, but my goal is always to break even and not go nuts and fudge it up. So yeah, 9 under. My best performance with disc golf ever.

My wife has certainly been giving me the business, which is understandable. But I tells ya, I took a few free classes, and when I got home I was exhausted and my legs were jelly. My feet are still numb.
I used to do fencing which was pretty much all leg work as well. The first couple weeks I felt my legs turned to rubber and the ground had turned to quicksand. Loads of fun though.

 : Brother currently is having a party with some of his college friends at the house and is being a total prick about it :x .

Me and my mom spent 2-3 hours cleaning up the house this morning with him and getting setup. Afterwards he met up with some people from his fraternity at a nearby wave pool. They were planning to spend most of the day there then come back here for a bonfire. So while he was having fun we went out to the store to pick up food and drinks ended up spending another 2 hours going between Sams Club, Walmart, and CVS to get everything :P.

Got home and as we are unloading they pull up :P. It's two hours earlier then we expected so we had to rush to get everything ready and my brother complained the entire time. That was back around 6pm.

Since then he has been drinking and being an idiot in general in the back yard with the 4-5 guys out of 10-15 that were supposed to be coming. I think he is pretty pissed that so few showed up so now he is taking his anger out on us cussing, slamming doors, and acting like an entitled little cunt in general :P.

This will definitely be the last time he has a party at the house :P. He is turning out to be exactly like our father which kills me.

Amused: Was on the last boss of Final Fantasy V and glitched out my cart a bit. First I managed to get the background tiles to invert their colors (including the menus) but the sprites looked fine. It occurred after he landed a White Hole on one of my party members. Continued with the battle and moved to the second phase, where I started to see really weird things. First I tried a Monk's Kick and she ended up flying across the screen for a few iterations before it finally detected it had reached the end, then flew back across the screen in the other direction for several iterations. Then the back part (I noobed out and forgot to get the Magic Lamp ahead of time) cast a Delta Attack and it experienced the same issue (not hitting its target, so it kept looping) but it never hit, so I had to restart.

I put it down for now, since I want to take this opportunity to get Odin and refill my stock of Dragon Fangs and Potions and I'm not too bummed overall, but I am amused.

I'd prefer that to what he actually does, which is petrify and kill your character.

Said fuck it and did it again, slightly changing how I set up my initial buffs. Only loss was when Neo Exdeath was down to his front part and did a Meteo + Vacuum Wave, and even then he only barely killed my Monk. A quick revive and then a single attack and he was dead (turns out it was only barely alive at that point). So that makes three runs in two weeks. I think I'll do one more so that my save file is filled with parties right before Exdeath and then be done for this year's Fiesta.

:x / :) - basically did the whole paper aisle by myself even though there was a guy with me because he kept taking out his phone every 5 minutes like clockwork. Mad that he kept doing it, but glad that my boss is supposedly doing something about it and that i actually did it by myself and actually did a decent job(never fails he spots something I missed while blocking and he apparently didn't spot much :D )
