so....is this game good? I heard Folklore is almost like a spiritual successor or it was going to be.

Dude! That game has been in my PSP for over 6 months now.. lol..

let me break it down like this...The music is great... the Characters have some really great voice acting and artwork... I really hope you like reading stories, because most of your time is spent listening to all the characters bicker at each other... which is genuinely funny at times... but MAN, is there ALOT of it!

Then there's the game play... kind of a watered down version of Pokemon... collecting elemental monsters to due battle vs other elemental monsters... it's actually rather fun, but man I jut couldnt stick with it... the bottom line is that it has a great presentation, but it's just REALLY slow going. If you don't mind a REALLY slow paced game, then you may love it ;) Even though I don't play it much, the collector inside me can't give it up, because I know how rare it is these days. What did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?

let me know what you think.

the seller was really kind to sell it to me for 35 dollars. S/he was the only seller who was selling a used CIB copy. Yea, really rare game I guess.

Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner was the first game by Gaia; a studio created by Kouji Okada... the man who created the Megami Tensei series. MK:JS is worth owning on pedigree alone.

Yea, this was the other selling point. I finally got the game and it is in pretty good condition. I've been playing the game since last night and I don't really mind the dialogue. It definitely has that Megami Tensei vibe, but this one seems more refreshing.

Jesus, this game is so underrated. This is basically a hidden gem for the PSP.
