How are drunk driving and getting raped even remotely the same thing?

Also, "schools are breeding ground for promiscuous behavior", what are you, 60?

I know what you mean, I was wearing a speedo and these 3 women ripped my bathing suit off and took pictures and posted them on social media sites. That's what happens when I dress like a skank.Pulsar_t wrote:http://thedailyshow.cc.com/videos/z2b62 ... ur-schools
When schools are breeding ground for promiscuous behaviour, is anyone surprised that this happens? Offenders should be punished obviously, but when students dress as skanks and drink themselves silly bad things tend to happen.
Oh and I can't stand Jessica Williams any longer
Also what's wrong with Jessica Williams?

Still that annoys me, as I like seeing a movie, anime, or what have you with the original words and objects intended unless you're obviously enchanting a existing object(and not removing it which is probably why I'm going to pick up the older looney tunes vhs's if I can since they removed a few cartoons apparently in newer collections because of stuff that was ok in the 40-60's but not now that can't be that bad for them to remove it)isiolia wrote:E.T. was more of a Director's Cut. The 20th Anniversary Edition changed the guns, but added in some cut scenes with new CGI, and that kind of stuff too. It was a distinct version of the film, and some of the DVD releases included the theatrical cut as well.darsparx wrote:Well if i'm correct they did edit ET and a few others in undesirable ways from what the originals actually looked like(guns to radios or something of that sort apparently, and I've heard others have gotten the same "modernization" from what I hear...)
The more recent DVD and Blu-ray release was remastered in HD, and is the theatrical version.
Having a special edition or director's cut isn't really the same thing, I think. Sometimes, it's for the better. Blade Runner's DVD/Blu-ray versions, for instance, are well regarded. Of course, having releases that include all five or so versions of the movie are nice too.![]()
Usually, the most I can think of that gets "fixed" as part of the remastering process are production errors. For instance, the snake reflection in Raiders of the Lost Ark that was removed in the DVD release.
Not saying there aren't stealth edits from time to time. Disney has a few famous ones, like Fantasia's. Just, most of the time, it's purely a restorative effort as far as the picture is concerned.

OK, let me rephrase: how are drunk driving and getting sexually assaulted even remotely the same thing?Pulsar_t wrote:Where did I or the Daily Show segment mention rape?TSTR wrote:How are drunk driving and getting raped even remotely the same thing?

Fuck are you guys talking about?
Ya know the whole "not having cancer" thing I have going on? My cunt of a boss said "You owe me time for your doctor's visits".
That's not what the contract I signed says...
Rand0m thoughts:
Places and locations I would open businesses:
K&W across from a Senior Home
A yarn store across from a Senior Home
Golden Carrol across from a trailer park
An accordion store in Polish Chicago
A beef and venison cart at a hunting lodge
A vintage video game store on the Internet (oh....wait)
A Big League Chew store at baseball fields
A Ghostbuster's Station Restaurant, fully equipped with fire pole. Anyone with a functional brain would want to play the video games, play with the ooze, slide down the pole, and eat tons of hot dogs like Slimer.
Old Navy store at Naval museums
A Tanning Salon/Gym across the street from a college dorm
Screw that, any store across from a college dorm
A computer repair store that has incredible owners insurance in a shady part of town
A Suit Store that is actually a front for knock off Viagra near an affluent neighborhood
A Blockbuster Video Store (It could still work)
An art framing store where I could make money but my stoner clerk would still be all "Yeahhh man. I can frame that stuff for thirty dollars. And. It. Would. Look. Excellent."
A video game library that requires a yearly, quarterly, or weekly membership fee, but has playing stations for all consoles, and once a member you can play and rent what ya want. (Gamefly with a store)
A store that only sells Terry Cloth, Buttoned, Monogrammed Robes. 'Cause who else sells 'em?
"Drive thru Dozen". Would sell only a dozen wings, drive thru style.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
So my office has a call center attached to it, and apparently it is the thing now to play music on your cellphone loudly while you walk around. It is just like highschool and subs...So when I asked one of the individuals doing this to cut the sound off because they were in the office part of the building they called me a racist. So not to be out done, I grabbed two battery powered speakers I have in my work bag for presentations, hooked up my cellphone, followed that individual back to their side of the building, and played traditional bagpipe music at max volume. Shortly after getting a cup of coffee there was a building wide email sent out, no music in public areas.
