Now I feel lucky that I picked up Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon when I did. All of the gamestops around here no longer keep the boxes for DS or 3DS games anymore. I had to pay twice as much for Cave Story 3D to get it complete because of this...

Here's one I doubt many of us will ever own, let alone see in the wild. As far as I know, this was limited to only 550 copies worldwide, and though the packaging is Japanese, the game is an English copy.

Any version of that game is expensive.

Also on the RPG front, Nostalgia and Sands of Destruction are creeping up in price. Both games are mediocre in my opinion, though collectors may want 'em.

Wish I had purchased The Dark Spire when I had a chance. That and Infinite Space are my two "damn I missed it!" DS games.

Ditto on Infinite Space. Avalon Code is another one that most people either missed out on or don't know about, and that one is starting to skyrocket too.

I purchased Avalon Code when I first got a DS, as I was simply buying whatever looked like an RPG. Same reason I picked up Nostalgia. Guess I got lucky.

I noticed today that the price of Lunar: Dragon Song is still quite low, which is fitting for a game of its quality.

Ugh, I made a horrible mistake in like... 2009 or 2010. Gamestop had complete copies of The Dark Spire for a dollar, and I was thinking about it, but ended up going "Nope, the game must suck if they're selling it for a dollar." This goes under one of my biggest mistakes ever.

I don't often buy games on their launch day but I'm glad I did with Infinite Space. I had been following it's development for a long time even though I'm not usually an RPG guy the starship combat and space exploration excited me.

The game has its flaws, but it's a fun ride and even has replay value with its branching story paths (and the first play-through itself is a 60 hour romp). If any of you ever luck out and find it for a decent price I really highly recommend it to fans of epic space operas.
