but if it's available to me to purchase online domestically, and my Wii can already play imports... it's the same game, yeah?BoneSnapDeez wrote:The hassle that goes along with importing a game and modding a Wii, I suppose.

Yup. Go for it!
Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
Just landed Mario all stars complete for 30.00. Everything looks new. I wish it was more like kirby and added every snes, gameboy, and had the chance to switch from nes to snes graphics. Ohh well 30.00 is a great price.
Yo know people at my work hate the wii. They dont consider it a system at all. They call it a poor mans way to get netflix. If they only knew and half of tgem own it. I tell them to sell me their games and they say they only have Mario galaxy or some shovelware for the kids or wife. There's the problem.

I'm tempted to pick up another Wii. Pawns just dropped them from $40 to $30. Thinking about picking up a Red Unit and swapping it out with one of my two Blacks.

The colored units will probably always have slighter higher demand than the plain black/white ones, but I expect the consoles will never really inflate in price too much, considering how popular/numerous the system was.Fragems wrote:I'm tempted to pick up another Wii. I can't see getting another wii anytime soon. It's nice having a wii u and a gc now. The wii is comfortably stored under my dresser in one of my blue jean totes(which bug me they need to be a dark brown). That mini and others look nice but wii u sounds nicer

I'm going to see if I can get them down to $20 on it. Actually had a red unit before but it wasn't backwards compatible so I dumped it. This one does and is in decent shape if it is still there this weekend I might get it. Also interested to see what all comes with the system they never list what is included on the price tag and they never check the systems for games. In the past I have gotten a variety of stuff that I wasn't expecting 2-3 extra controllers, memory cards, random other accessories, and out of the three systems I have purchased through them 2 of them had games left insideRetrogamer0001 wrote:The colored units will probably always have slighter higher demand than the plain black/white ones, but I expect the consoles will never really inflate in price too much, considering how popular/numerous the system was.Fragems wrote:I'm tempted to pick up another Wii. Sounds like a case swap or something.

Never mind I was mistaken. Thought it was a red console with the New Super Mario Bros. bundle but it was a black one. Been a while since I got rid of it so I forgottheclaw wrote:Sounds like a case swap or something.
