Goty! Also possibly my new sig.

Sorry I had to do that. I picked the game up on release because I'm a sucker too and had been anticipating it since I first heard about it a couple of months ago. The game is pretty cool. I can't wait for more updates. This is one of those games that I felt like I needed to plop down money so I could support the devs.

Been playing Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl story mode on expert difficulty. It's rad guys. Finally finished the first stratum last night by taking out Fenrir the most badass wolf boss that ever howled outta howl town. Twas an epic fight with strategy galore that only Atlus knows how to whip up. I absolutely love this game, it hurts so good.

Still need to snag that. I had plans to pick it up this week, but..

Monster Hunter has basically stolen my soul. Its disgusting how often I play this game. Maybe a week and a half of play, and I am almost at 90 hours in game

However, for the first time since playing the game on the ps2, I actually have a group! My girl and temporary room-mate/friend both have been keeping up with me (somehow), and now 3 more friends are getting into the game. We will actually have to go on 2 separate hunts. Such a wonderful problem to have.

The best part: Its my Friday, and tonight we are going to have an epic hunting party. Lots of drinking, lots of bashing wyvern faces in. I can't wait!

That sounds about right actually. Once a MH game gets its hooks in you, you can kiss real life goodbye for a while.

Which version of the game are you playing? The 3DS one?

Nidhogg. A game that I have been training all my life for. It is Prince of Persia's sword fighting with jumping, rolling, and an intense mental battle thinking through all options at the same time that both you and your enemy have available. That said, a good match can be 30 seconds or 15 minutes. While I dont view it being worth the $15, it is awesome.

Curse you internet for ruining words! I was looking up some guides just to see what other people do to stay alive and stumbled upon a lot of cool little details. I have yet to really give the tribesman a chance to interact with me. I have just been hacking away like a madman, but apparently, they can do a lot of really interesting and different things.

From what I've read, this game kind of reminds me of Bushido Blade. Do you get that same sort of vibe from it?

You can view it as the original Prince of Persia meets Bushido Blade. It moves like POP but has deaths like Bushido.

Its so true! I don't even know when it happened, last thing I remember the game felt slow and tedious, and all of a sudden everything clicked, and now its pretty much my favorite thing.

I am playing the 3ds version. I put a bit over 100 hours into Tri on the Wii, so I was not expecting to dig too deep into mh3u, it was more just to tide me over until mh4 comes out. But, goodness, they really revamped and changed quite a bit from Tri to Ult. It feels like a new game.

I just slayed my first Pink Rathian. Poor girl.
