Yeeeah baby! Great album. (I can only see Possessed - is there another one?)

Somewhat related but the house I'm buying has some cassette tape shelves that I believe are built right into the wall of the basement. Maybe an excuse to start collecting cassettes? Current owner has a bunch of Slayer and Testament tapes - happened to notice during the home inspection.
yeah the other album is Exodus - Bonded By Blood.

you should absolutely start collecting cassettes, it's super fun. if you decide not to, and find that those racks in your new house are Napa Valley 100pc racks, i will buy them off of you :)

Beautiful Mess - Diamond Rio

Started singing this in my head at work and wondered..."Where the heck did that come from? Haven't listened to that one in forever!". That seems to happen a lot lately  doesn't bother me much when it's a song I actually enjoy though

They're not those. But I think I had some of those racks as a kid! Yes I most definitely did.

Where do you buy cassettes? I've bought some at Kreation Records but haven't looked anywhere else.

i buy and trade in facebook groups mostly. i've found some awesome stuff through those groups. one time i bought a lot of some insane sealed metal tapes (Carnivore, Death, Possessed, DRI, Sacrifice, Terrorizer, etc) from a dude and i had to mail him a check since he didn't have paypal. it really took me back.

Bought The Hotelier album on Aaron's recommend and I am not disappointed. I like the album best when it is like Dashboard Confessional, which seems like most of the time, so that's good. Didn't care for the 1 track that was a little more punk rock and was just a lot yelling.

Check it out: http://thehotelyear.bandcamp.com/

that's one of my favorite tracks, haha. the lyrics are great on this record all the way through.

glad you enjoyed it! if you have never listened to the Weakerthans, listen to their records Left & Leaving, Fallow and Reunion Tour as soon as possible.

Just stumbled upon The Coathangers. Garage/punk. Already one of the best all-female bands I've ever heard.

Fitz & the Tantrums - More Than Just a Dream

This has a certain style to it, like soul from way back, with multiple singers, etc. I love it a lot and it can't hurt to give it a try for free right? (If you have Prime that is.)
