I'm not the biggest RE4 fan and much prefer the older games but it's still a really well made and fun game. It also is one of the defining games of it's generation so it's hard to argue against it too much.

That being said, REmake and even RE0 are the RE games you buy a GameCube for.

As much as I liked RE 1-CV I was never a fan of tank controls and fixed cameras so RE4 was more enjoyable from a game play perspective.

RE is my next series I plan on getting for the GC. As soon as I can get the pile of cash needed I've been knocking off some pricey titles in the past year though. Eternal Darkness, both Mega Man collections, Mario Kart Double Dash. Still want SSB Melee too.

Unless you're strict about what your GC collection looks like, RE0 and RE1 are the only Resident Evil games you should buy for it (unless the Wii versions drop dramatically in price, too). Code Veronica and RE4 can be had on PS2 for about $5 while RE2 and RE3 are in the $10ish range on PSX. It's a bit easier on the budget than the $30-40 the Gamecube versions fetch. I imagine they're still rising as well.

I have Code Veronica on PS2 and RE4 on Wii. Both are and have been super cheap. I did purchase the Gamecube versions of 2 and 3 for decent enough prices even though I already have them on PS1.

I'm pretty happy with this as most of the first party titles I'd be interested in are covered (Twilight Princess excluded). There's only a handful of games I still keep my eye out for. Skies of Arcadia and Kirby's Air Ride being the two most prominent.

I think the PAL one looks better, because the gamecube's logo on the boxart is also round so it keeps it consistent.

Can anyone describe the gameplay of Pikman?

It looks like something my daughters would enjoy and it seems to have favorable ratings. I was just curious what it was about.
