It is on the Gamecube knockoff controllers. No sign of Nintendo or GC on them. The real orange controller alone is worth much more than $15, but all those good games too!wclem wrote:I think the Nintendo logo on the center is blanked out on the reproduction/knock off versions. Someone please correct me if this is wrong.

Went to an anime & gaming convention today. The retro games vendors that had attended in years past weren't there this time unfortunately. But I did manage to snag some good stuff for cheap.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
I don't do a lot on eBay but going through my N64 stuff the other day I realized I didn't have Diddy Kong Racing any longer (our original must be with one of my siblings). Found a seller online, who clearly was doing a one-time eBay cleanse (not a re-seller) as he had some misc items and then his N64 and some individual games. Damn if this isn't a near mint cart (looked good in the eBay pic too) for $12.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
Hopefully it's that simple.
I dunno if I will have to install a language pack or whatever. Actually I may just try to run it on my laptop, I can type in Japanese on this so I must have installed something at some time?

Re: Games Acquired 2014
If you have Japanese language support already installed, then you can use Applocale to run it in Japanese. May need to find instructions on forcing the install (on Vista at least, I think 7 just works). It's only officially supported on XP and Server 2003.
Or you can switch the locale of the OS, but I'd go with Applocale first.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
June update! Quite early because I'm away from tomorrow til early July, but that also means I won't be buying any games in that time frame
June
Solatorobo: Red the Hunter DS - £7.98
Learn with Pokémon: Typing Adventure DS - £10.99
Maestro: Jump in Music DS - £19.99
Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia DS - £7.24
Total: 4 games - £46.20
It's been a quiet month in terms of buying and beating games. You may notice a theme between the games I picked up this month though
Solatorobo was an eBay purchase from a catalogue companies clearance warehouse. Maestro was an Amazon purchase, and the two Pokémon games were both ebay purchases too. Pokémon Typing Adventure includes the necessary keyboard.
