A recurring theme in my dreams is finding super-rare retro games in a regular Gamestop, but I always wake up when the talking dolphin tells me how unrealistic that sounds.General_Norris wrote:Yesdarsparx wrote:Here's a random thought: has anyone ever dreamt they found games they've lost?![]()

Twice, once was a Pulstar home cart in a old mom and pops video store. The other time was many years ago when I had a dream of owning a DoDonPachi arcade machine. DDP I now own but not in the cab I had a dream of, in the dream it was in a big blue.darsparx wrote:Here's a random thought: has anyone ever dreamt they found games they've lost? I had that kind of dream and it bugged the crap out of me because it was major games I knew I had at one point

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Thinking I might trade in some games and buy Skyrim. I need something big and expansive to play until I get money, and I'm currently really iffy on New Vegas. Too much of it feels empty. And there's too many building that are just boarded up and have no use, especially in towns. Its goofy and aggravating to me.
I don't know if Skyrim is the right choice though. I liked it the first time I had it, but lost interest after a while. If I had a PC that could run it with some mods, I might be interested. (Apparently, you can add mods on hacked/JTagged consoles, although I don't know if I'm up to do that currently. It also gets complicated on mods with new or changed textures.)

Did you ever notice that a lot of video game characters eat copious amounts of food... but never poop?

I feel like my Steam library got away from me, I currently have 567 games in my library, plus another 104 in an account I share via friends and family with a friend.
I had to go into Uni today to have a one on one meeting and while I was waiting for my turn I was talking to someone, they said they just crossed over the 1500 count and it blew my fucking mind. Digital hording.
