I'm curious as to how the movie How to Train Your Dragon has gained such a huge fanbase. I'm not saying that derisively; I'm genuinely curious. I have seen the movie twice now, but nothing about it really stood out to me. Can you explain why you feel it is a classic? I really feel like I just don't get it.

Kung Fu Panda is a pretty lame movie too, I thought.

The Incredibles is fun, but ultimately still a lesser Pixar movie...

Weird all the Dreamworks or Pixar movies you've mentioned I've enjoyed throughly until they kept playing them nonstop on tv and wore them out  (and yes I'm aware there's a remote to change the channel but I usually don't feel like it and there's not much else on that I'd rather watch). HtTYD to me was a great movie but if you're not into dragons or the culture I don't think it'd be for you....all of these more recent movies are hit or miss with people more than they ever have it seems and I've been happy watching them as long as I focus on them and not something else

Oldboy(2013)

Probably one of the most twisted movies I have ever seen  . It's up on netflix. Overall it was pretty good alot of over the top violence and crazy shit going on. The ending was freaking insane.

Just watched Knights of Badassdom, was interested for two reasons- Summer Glau is my celeb crush waifu 4everz, and who doesn't like Peter Dinklage now?

Well, the movie sucked a little worse than I thought it would. Not only was it 1000% predictable, but the scenes were just thrown together and the laughs that weren't forced were few and far between.
The movie was irritating in the way 'Big Bang' is irritating, trying to cash in on "geek culture" by completely misrepresenting it's most extreme stereotypes, mishmashing a whole bunch of "geek" things together and have characters speak "geek" jibberish with geekbuzz phrases thrown in. I don't even LARP and I managed to walk away offended FOR them. Aside from the predictibleness they even exploited the ol' "LIGHTNING BOLT" scene of OG youtube fame. The actors all mailed their performances in, many scenes had hesitation or shoddy camera work probably due to a very small timeframe which caused them to do a lot of 1-and-done takes.

Summer Glau couldn't save this trash, even if she did a full on nude scene, which she of course didn't

TLDR; It wasn't funny, had absolutely no thrills and the laughs were few for a purported "comedy". Glad this thing never made it to theaters, don't waste your time/money.

You need to see the original Korean film. It is vastly superior I feel over the Spike Lee film. Same name, less punches pulled.

Star Trek 12 Wrath of Sherlock Holmes.

A fun film for what it is, but it seems like JJ Abrams is doing his best to make Star Trek fans pissed off.
