GMT -6 here.

Getting ready to go out for drinks and live music with some friends. Having lots of people over tomorrow for a chili lunch on the holiday. My chili kicks ass!

Happy new year y'all.

For some fucking reason I decided to go to a bar. I lasted all but an hour before coming back home. First half hour I just sat by myself. 2nd half hour, I had some drunk stupid bitch aggressively interrogating me as to why I'm not drinking, and generally creeping me the fuck out. She was stumbling all over herself, she forgot 3 times that she was solids in pool while proclaiming "I just wanna know you duuude" as many times. It literally got to the point where she was getting in my face all pissed. I guess she wasn't used to guys not doing what she says. So I left, thoroughly creeped out. And to think I had the pleasure of paying a $10 cover charge to experience this.

Happy fucking new year. I've got a headache.

Oh yeah and before that, got a call from a friend's gf, and the two of them were literally begging me to come to their party. For some reason she thought that by offering to get me stoned, or even ::gasp:: high on X, I'd be sure to come! Oh yeah, so tempting. Ya almost had me.

In my life I rarely have celebrated new years... maybe like 2 or 3 times in total. I usually had work ever since I was 14.

I had a blast, meet new people, I'm going to the Keys now! HAPPY NEW YEAR

I have four friends that have been hanging out together since middle school. Every year since high school we have been getting together for new years this year was no different other than i hosted it. Because of the new baby we could not leave for an extended period of time and getting a babysitter for an infant is next to impossible on NYE. Our house is great for get togethers in the basement because it is finished and decorated in Cleveland sports memorabilia with a bar, mame arcade machine, all of my other video game consoles, a foosball table, dart board, bathroom, and guest bedroom. The party went well until my one friend (who this week's webcomic @ spacebooger.com is based on) decided to randomly throw punches and fell into my foosball table smashing it into little pieces.
Other than the passing of my foosball table it was a good new years eve.
Happy New Years everyone!

I spent New Year's Eve with my wife in Austin, TX for our honeymoon. Instead of fighting the crowds of fratboys and tourists on 6th Street, we decided to remain at the hotel, drink a few beers, and 'relax'. I was asleep by 12:15 AM.

It couldn't have been better. :D

Happy New Year, everybody!
