Anyway, I think he should take up Flex on the offer. $99 for a CPU and mobo and basically everything else is covered by friends minus final shipping to him. I mean... $99 for a machine capable of playing some Steam games w/ friends is beyond legit.

What all parts are already donated/earmarked, and what still needs donated/procured?

I'm still not 100% sure if we have gotten a PSU. I think s1mplehumar was checking on one for the build, but I'm not sure if he was able to get one.

We definitely have a case, hdd, ram, optical drive, and gpu.

We still need to secure psu and os for sure.

And unless s1mple has a mystery cpu/mobo then thats prob the pieces mikey needs to buy.

10-4.

Thanks to a sidebusiness of fixing pcs and many people "upgrading" to tablets, I have a plethora of old OEM keys.

so I'm pretty sure Mike's gonna take up Flex's offer to grab that $99 mobo/CPU deal. For y'all that are donating parts, hit me up for my mailing address. I'm glad to chip in or cover shipping costs as need be.
