Looking for a thread

Post by GamerMON »

Cant seem to find it here. Please link me to a thread on pokemon tournament using pokemon stadium on the 64. I remember reading this thread a couple years ago but my google fu is not strong enough. I want to do a local event with friends based off the rules listed there.

Don't laugh, if people knew how easy programming is once you get the hang of it, we'd be out of jobs instead of being payed high wages

The joke is that mjmjr25 does not work in IT.

I can not wrap my head around programming, instead I take things apart and sell things to people.

In this day and age it's very simple. I feel sorry for programmers in previous decades.

Maybe that is my issue. I first tried on Apple ][ Basic in the early 90s, followed by a stint of Windows Basic and Ti82 Basic in the late 90s. Maybe I should give it another go. What language do you recommend starting with?

C# if you want to mess around with making games on unity, php and javascript if you want to mess around with making webapps/sites, and swift or java is you want to mess around with making apps for ios/android respectively (though java is probably the hardest of all those languages).
