HAHA, I just tried this yesterday and shut it off an hour in. Camera sucks too. Do these get better as the series goes on?

The camera is pretty bad, especially with those clown guys. Their balloons often obscure a large portion of the screen.

Not sure what you mean by "as the series goes on," so I'll just say that none of the PS3 Ninja Gaiden games were very good. The first one was alright and then it just went downhill from there.

So I might be throwing up everything I own retro wise into a sale thread because I'm needing to get a ton of money raised up really fast.

If I do this then I'm out of the retro collecting thing. Stuff keeps getting more and more expensive and finds in the wild are becoming more and more rare and it's just not as fun as it used to be. Rebuilding a collection like that would frankly suck and would cost me way more than I put in the first time.

Sounds like a bad idea to sell it all then. :|

So what'll you do for your retro stuff? Are you planning to emulate? Play retro compilations? Use the Virtual Console?

The post does say that Apple needs to raise money fast. I suppose the important question here is: What's the money needed for?

:? Sorry to hear it's come to that. Good luck with the sales though.

I'm "done collecting" myself, but for me that simply involves buying less.

moving stuff mainly... and some transition related expenses

The fact is that I have to start at the Austin store on July 15th and my original plan of getting a bank loan for moving expenses didn't work out. I want to move on July 1st so I'll have some time to get settled in town. (I have two weeks paid time off between Jul 1-15)

Honestly I'd rather not sell anything if I don't have to, but either way I have to find a way to pay for moving expenses really fast.

I know you've told me this stuff before but it still sucks to hear about it, because I know you spent a lot of time building your collection. But other things take priority sometimes (just sometimes!).

That's pretty much where I'm at. I did buy a couple games last week at my local game store but I ended up trading in some other games that I didn't really want to offset the cost.
