Well. it WAS at $766,916.66 at the time I originally posted.
No proof, of course, but I didn't make it up on the spot.
Don't know why it went back down, as peeps was the high bidder then as well.
...just another lost soul...

Facepalm

No, 2 people bid it up. I haven't seen any confirmation that it was actually paid yet.

Yea, no confirmations from any side after it concluded. Though, from Michael's end I am sure he has been inundated with emails from people wanting to know about it, so it may be some time before the truth comes out.

"$68 isn't bad if you consider new games are $60 nowadays."

Kotaku looks dumb and Game gavel looks dumb because no one is sending them 750,000.

I like all the "$750,000 must make parting with that collection a bit easier" comments.

For $750k you could probably spend two weeks on ebay and rebuy the collection piece by piece. Three times.

Engadget is also teh stupidz.

It's the same sort of stupidity as the people that price things off of BiNs that never sell. :?

I mean I hope he gets something near what he wants, but I just don't see it really see $750K happening.

There's no way it's a legit buy. Why would anyone spend 750,000 on that stuff when as everyone else said you can rebuild essentially the same thing for much less.

Add a few games to it that aren't already in the pile, and you're fast-tracked to putting your name in Guinness, maybe? I dunno.
