I think that is probably his intention at this point to just ride this auction out get some more publicity and start again. If it manages to get national news I'm sure there will be some idiots who actually think it sold for that .

For $750k you could probably spend two weeks on ebay and rebuy the collection piece by piece. Three times.

There's no way it's a legit buy. Why would anyone spend 750,000 on that stuff when as everyone else said you can rebuild essentially the same thing for much less.
