I'm both glad that Ghana scored and that you scored one more to win. Made the end if the match really exciting

Finally, another game:

Re: World Cup 2014!
Belgium came clawing back -- which I expected. I hope they continue to be entertaining.
This match will decide who wins the group, IMO. El Tri vs. Brazil!

Re: World Cup 2014!
Not overly impressed with that Belgium performance but they got the win which is what counts. They look a bit like England in some respects: lots of individually talented players plying their trades at big European clubs but not exactly a cohesive national team. Unlike England though they won and are in good position to progress.
Re: World Cup 2014!
Dammit. 0-0, but it was a good game.
Fred fucking sucked and Oscar seemed to not know what to do whenever he touched the ball. Willian should've started.
Mexico was really happy with the draw. Outside a few long distance shots they were glad to park the bus and have the whole team in the defense.
Ochoa, the Mexican goalie, probably had the best match of his carreer. Dude channeled his inner Gordon Banks and saved an incredible header by Neymar. He saved Mexico clearly 3 or 4 times today.

Re: World Cup 2014!
Yeah, it was a decent game for 0-0. I don't get the insistence on playing a striker like Fred or Jo they don't seem any way near the quality of the rest of the team. Like Ronaldo yesterday I felt bad for Neymar working hard to beat people and make chances with no one there to help out.
Still, a win and draw is a good position to be in.

Fred and Jô are alright. The tactics they played today didn't help strikers. The ball didn't reach them. Ramires playing on the right? That made no sense at all.Sload Soap wrote:Yeah, it was a decent game for 0-0. I have no idea why they played the way they played. Anyway, Brazil could've easily walked out of the game with a 1-0 or 2-0. Ochoa was inspired.
