He offered a partial refund but since it was a lot transaction and it ended so low I didn't feel like I could choose a fair price for the items which were left out.

I would just say for those doing auctions on the site in the future make a starting bid or reserve to avoid awkward situations like this and check your boxes before they go out :P.

You're losing me.

If i'm understanding correctly:
- You won a mystery box auction (it wasn't a true mystery as all contents were revelaed)
- When you got it you discovered an item or two were missing and you messaged him.
- He offered a refund (knowing him, i'll assume he also apologized?)
- You declined the refund because you couldn't determine value as it was a "lot" purchase?

Did you give him the option to come up with a dollar amount? Were there pm's after the offer of a refund? This reads like you're arbitrarily saying, "Naw, don't want a refund, can't determine value, i'll leave a neutral instead." That's you're prerogative - but not how things are generally done tbh.

If that's accurate, speaking frankly, and from your daily ebay rants, you'd be the person i'd hesitate dealing with.

Yeah, I've had a few occassions where I accidentally left out items from a shipment. Typically a refund or separate shipment cleared it up.

From your ebay complaints about feedback Fragems, and the friendly nature of this site, I figured you would be one sympathetic to leaving less than positive feedback...
