It's official. And the Brawl cover was missing many big characters

Specially the fact that sonic is missing was surprising.

They only like to include the Nintendo characters for whatever reason. Maybe there would be extra licensing costs or something?

I like the 3DS box art better honestly. I don't like the weird perspective of the Wii U one. Samus looks tiny.

Dang, agreed. Plus it looks like a nice throwback to the original.

Do we have an idea of the roster? To be honest I actually hope this one is smaller than Brawl at least. Quality > Quantity in the case of these games.

As long as there is no Meta-Knight level of unbalance, I'm okay with the roster at any size Melee or larger.

The revealed roster is already nearly as big as Brawl. There are a lot of characters missing from Brawl that I still hope we see return too (Wario, Game&Watch, Ness, Ice Climbers Captain Falcon).

Considering we have an assist trophy from WarioWare and one from F-Zero, Game & Watch appears in the pac-man reveal trailer and enemies from Ice Climber appear in the Smash Run mode, I'd guess they all have a pretty decent chance of reappearing.

I don't know much about the Brawl scene. Is Ike loved that much that they felt they had to include him for a second game running?

Yeah but I was really hoping for Chrom in this game. Don't think we'll be seeing a 3rd Fire Emblem character so

So apparently the $99 bundle at gamestop includes the game, the gc adapter, and special smash themed gc controller. Forget that, I'll buy the game, and possibly the adapter and re-use my existing gc controllers if I really want to play it that way(especially so I could get the 3ds version too).
