I doubt it will be. Miami vs Indiana was SUPPOSED to be the hot new rivalry, but Indiana forgot how to play like an elite basketball team sometime earlier this year and seeing them in the playoffs....well......turns out the bad play may not have been a fluke. They're gonna be worse next year unless they start moving people, pronto.

Miami is.....well shit I don't know what will happen with them. It's basically the Big Three and a mish mash of castoffs and rejects. I mean, how the hell do you manage to get Greg "my knees haven't enabled me to play an NBA game since 2009" Oden, Chris "not the rapper Birdman" Andersen, Rashard "I haven't been relevant since Orlando" Lewis, Ray "I only exist to shoot the random 3 in a corner and that's it" Allen, and Shane "future sportscaster" Battier on the same roster as Lebron, Wade, and Chris Boshasaurus? Oh and don't forget Norris "I'm younger than the Kidd N Play hairstyle I rock on my head" Cole.

Shane is an inspiration in my eyes. He doesn't get "the shot" (although he should), never complains about it. He is the quintessential "teammate" by the very definition of the word.

He's not a "yes man" yet he is humble and compliant without hesitation. He could change the team, but at the same time places the team before himself.

Shane Battier is my favorite "present" player. Here's the reason I bought his jersey:

Thank you for sharing this astonishing article.

Shane always seeks the next challenge, although he already could call it quits. I had no idea he went to MIT's Sloan school of management, which in itself is an achievement.

And at Duke, he embodied what a student athlete is/was.
