Cmon Apple, while I disagree with him often, that is a bit harsh/overboard no? What he was saying does fall into the lines of gaming dev PR needs to start checking off the different social group representations to ensure equal representation. Just because some dont share this passion or even agree doesnt make us asses or pieces of shits.

I like to let the devs make what they want and deliver their product. Its cool that Child of Light gave us a young female lead, and it is cool that AC whatever the number gives you male avatars.

The people who advocate for representation and diversity aren't asking for tokenism or identity erasure.

I just want to let developers make the games they want. I dont think they have to have an excuse if there isnt a female lead or a female avatar option. Great for the games that have it, more so if the game is of quality.

But back on my original post you questioned. Some people watch the E3 to see whats new and for the most part what nintendo showed was very different than what microsoft and Sony had to show. Female cast is just a part of that.

I have to add Sony had the bloodiest presentation I have ever seen at E3.

But they aren't.... you think that all the staff making that game were wanting playable women not in that game? No they were, even their excuses touched on them wanting to add women. In the end cost is why women are't in the game... so the developers didn't make the game they wanted to.
