While I see your point, the thing is games dont represent real life well as it is. They do represent certain demographics more than others, some overwhelmingly so.Retrogamer0001 wrote:Even better, why not make each and every game the exact same? If there are ten people in a game, five must be men and five must be women. Naturally, everyone will wear the same generic clothing and have similar ethics and personal values, the same religion, and use appropriate language. All characters must have a "normalized" amount of sex appeal (not too sexy, not too off-putting) and things like make up and slang are not to be included. I don't see his point at all. The whole thing that annoys people in the first place it that we're always forced to be the same gruff detached white male stereotype. I don't see why he thinks people want representation of male and female characters so that they can all have similar ethics and values, religions and whatnot. Thats the EXACT OPPOSITE of the point.Jmustang1968 wrote:While I see your point, the thing is games dont represent real life well as it is. We want to see MORE diversity, I don't see how he mixes that up with us wanting everything to be uniformly the same.

Cmon Apple, while I disagree with him often, that is a bit harsh/overboard no? What he was saying does fall into the lines of gaming dev PR needs to start checking off the different social group representations to ensure equal representation. Just because some dont share this passion or even agree doesnt make us asses or pieces of shits.AppleQueso wrote:Fixed that for you.Retrogamer0001 wrote:I am a piece of shit who has no clue what the fuck I am talking about
I like to let the devs make what they want and deliver their product. Its cool that Child of Light gave us a young female lead, and it is cool that AC whatever the number gives you male avatars.

Re: Who Won E3 2014?
One of the many excuses about not having a female in Unity was because that game didn't sell that well compared to other Assassin's Creed games. And even did poorer sales when remastered. Very limited audience for that release being a Vita exclusive. No one is claiming Ubisoft hasn't had females in their games but their poor excuses for not including them in Unity. How would you feel if someone told you it would cost to much money to include you, in a franchise that makes millions of sales?Exhuminator wrote:The most recent Ubisoft game I played not only had a female lead, but a minority one at that:
