There is a modern After Burner!

After Burner: Climax (PS3/360)

There's the unreleased (can find it online) Propeller Arena for Dreamcast.

Crimson Skies on Xbox

Murikumo: Renegade Mech Pursuit - it's more star-fox-like, but it's much more arcadey. Reminds me of LA Machine Guns, quite a bit.

There's JASF, though I have no idea how good it is.
