Oh boy I wish you hadn't told me that....I really love me some zeppelin from time to time(darn my being raised on classic/hard rock even though i have a WAAAAAYYYY brooder spectrum from time to time). The only thing that bugs me is the name of the song usually doesn't match the song ha ha so i usually can never guess the song unless it's black dog(odd).

On a side note I really need some beatles in my collection asap next month...

Been listening to a ton of Steely Dan lately, mainly stuff from Countdown to Ecstasy and Aja. It's weird that no one ever talks about them these days. They're so bloody good!

Yeah actually completely forgot the guy even existed(especially since they sing reelin' in the years which is one of my favorite classic songs) Definitely adding them to artists to get more of when next month comes around, I need more variety on the night shifts since i avoid listening to most of what they play since it tends to be pop junk

Which by the way I was listening to "Someday I'll be saturday Night" Bon Jovi and now it's "Blaze of Glory" man not much artist variety but that doesn't bug me with this playlist...such a great one :D

I've been listening to Electric Counterpoint by Steve Reich a ton lately. I don't really know anything about minimalist music, but it somewhat reminds me of early video game music in terms of how simple it is and how there's one simple music idea constantly being repeated.

I'm currently listening to "We As Humans". Now it not a religious man myself but even though this band is within the Christian Rock segment they sound amazing.

Last week, for the third time in my life, I had the distinct pleasure of seeing the Drive By Truckers live. If you ever get the chance, check them out they don't disappoint, and they know how to bring the rock show to town.

some pics from the show ( I was right at the front):

Right now, however, I am listening to a soundboard recording of the one off benefit show that Patterson Hood, Mike Cooley (both of DBT) and Jason Isbell (formerly of DBT) did last weekend, and I am on cloud fucking nine. Amazing stuff.
