eBay will probably be the best (Video Game Price Charting is a good site to get an idea of average prices)

Amazon is also good if you can find a good seller with a good price & condition

Also, local game stores! I don't do much buying from them, but many games are still in good shape there.

Man becoming a collector is tough stuff. By nature i'm a purger, but I love classic video games.

You can sometimes get lucky at Goodwill. I bought a "not for resale" copy of Mario Sunshine and Mario Party 4 for $3.99 each! One of my best experiences at Goodwill :D

I would say pawns are about the best place to hit if you can find some with flat rate pricing. Especially if you are looking for a good selection. Most other places are hit or miss and online and local resellers who focus on games will usually stick right around VGPC.

There's a place in Glenside called Classic Game Junkie. I don't remember what the GC selection was like specifically, but they had a pretty wide ranging selection of stuff.

Retro stores still undervalue GC games for the most part, as do most other shops. Retail is your best option, outside of maybe getting lucky with eBay lots. Best of luck, fellow GameCube patron! :D

Gamestop had one or two stores in Eastern Mass that still stocked PS2/GC games until a month or two ago. I grabbed a few disc only games when Gamestop put the remaining GC stock on sale for 75% off.

Right now there is a large dump of GC games going on by their original owners. If the average GC player back in 2000 was 8-12 years old, they're now in or leaving college and their parents are dumping those games into yard sales and thrift stores. It's not a bad time to stock up on GC games if looking to collect for that system.

Personally, for me it has been best in the past locally through retail shops(strangely enough), and flea/garage sale stuff, ebay after that.

Disgustingly though in the last year half price books has shit so badly in its own back yard here it has wrecked the local retail competitor that isn't a chain so they have to gouge now too to keep stock in their stores so it's almost impossible to get anything nice anymore under ebay. I work from home so ebay these days is best as I can sift by system, region(US), and condition to narrow things, then go by BIN/new posts and ending soonest. I've found enough crazy deals sometimes true misses up to 1/2 off but usually like a 1/3 or 1/4 under average which is cool.
