The BBC's commentary just went berserk over that second France goal. They seem to think it was the original shot that was the goal and not the goalkeepers fumble. Fucking idiots.

Allez les Bleus! The steam rolling commences in 3...2...1...

Edit: Nvm, didn't realize Honduras had an OG off the keeper, and Benzema wasn't credited.

They don't flop like EVERY OTHER FUCKING TEAM IN THE WORLD, they don't pass the ball around to waste time when they are ahead in the second half, and in general they play football in its most "purest" form. Run with everything you got and try to score goals :)

That's pretty accurate. It just tends to backfire.

Probably but at least it wins them fans abroad. The Netherlands almost won a world cup with their very unsportman-like behavior, and the whole world hated them for it. Seriously it's the only team I want to see fail.

And while I don't care for the rest, I do want to see team USA do well and reach the top 8 at least.

I think Holland's performance the other night wiped that slate clean. They are back to playing attractive passing football for the moment. It's interesting you dislike teams who go a goal up and pass the ball around but also seem to have some support for Spain who won a world cup doing just that.

I was against Spain at the start of that game. But after seeing the way the Dutch players acted I was strongly against them, and still am. Do you realize that they might have injured someone and ruined their careers? And it wasn't just one player, it was almost the entire team acting this way.

I didn't mind that dutch performance in the 2010 final. It was tough and abrasive but that is a valid tactic when dealing with the tiki-taka style. It didn't work and was roundly criticised but it is a decent approach. Football is a contact sport. The De Jong karate kick was terrible I'll admit and that match was hampered by poor officiating but Spain were hardly blameless with lots of their trademark play acting. It was the terrible final that tournament deserved.

That said, this doesn't look anything like that Dutch team so maybe give them a chance?

wow really, i'm new to football and that's one of the biggest things that bugs me, floppers! (looking at you NBA). If we play the way you say that's fucking awesome.

Edit: Well this backs up your statement  (@1:30 in the video)
