Re: Who Won E3 2014?
Violent, I want to stress, that I am not really arguing over your decision to say Sony had the best press conference, because preference is everything in this topic.
Some games can be more desirable than others based on what a person looks into. When EA talked about their MOBA, Dawngate, I immediately shut down because it had no interest to me. Would you agree that some exclusives do not appeal to certain types of people and that also helps them make the decisions in deciding what platform to invest in?
For me, social interactivity in co-op is a must and for me that has always been with a Nintendo system. The feature of local Co-op is continuously supported on the Wii U and can be done in cool and unique ways other systems can't provide and that has helped me make that decision for me. That may not be what others look for and I understand and respect that.
I also want to say, that I know everyone can not afford or maybe not even desire having a dedicated gaming PC. Another choice with which I completely understand and respect, which again change a persons opinion on what is desirable. I didn't want to infer that people should ignore the PS4 or Xbox One, because of those PC cross platform titles, as I am not of the firm belief of the, "PC Master Race," nonsense.
Sony definitely can provide in the exclusives market, as can Microsoft. Whether those exclusives are enough to convince a person to invest in the platform is completely up to them.
When I talk about bang for my buck, again that is really based on my personal preference. I have no desire to purchase a Playstation Plus membership as a lot of the games that end up being offered I already own, or are games I am not interested in. It doesn't make sense to pay a monthly fee for features I will not use personally. I will not speak for others on that matter, because again... it is all about preference.
What I meant when I said I get the most bang for my buck is that I have access to the majority of titles that I want to play at the cheapest price and in the most efficient manner. What works for me, does not work for everyone else.

Certainly, but people should always look to try new things. Dawnsgate looked pretty crappy, so you didn't miss out on much.BogusMeatFactory wrote:

I suppose, I don't know what games you like, but I think I should inform you that PSN+ is not really a monthly fee. You just pay 50 dollars (cheaper than a new game) and you have access to all their stuff for a year, it's crossplat, basically every notable game comes out on PSN+ (small games and triple A alike), usually with in a year, it's pretty cost efficient not to mention it covers a wide variety of genres. When I talk about bang for my buck, again that is really based on my personal preference. You are right, I should just restate it to say that I don't want to put down $50 for something I don't think I will use throughout the year.Violent By Design wrote: I suppose, I don't know what games you like, but I think I should inform you that PSN+ is not really a monthly fee. In other news, Dsheinem needlessly belittles peoples opinions with unnecessary sarcastic comments rather than contributing anything meaningful to the thread.dsheinem wrote:Retrogaming forum thinks company that showed 90% old IPs on aging hardware had the best E3 showing. News @11.

Isn't it logical that someone who is really into retro games would prefer modern games that are still "retro" in style?dsheinem wrote:Retrogaming forum thinks company that showed 90% old IPs on aging hardware had the best E3 showing. News @11.

Re: Who Won E3 2014?
Are you saying 2014 will be the year that games are finally released for the PS4?
Re: Who Won E3 2014?
No, that's not happening until 2015.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Are you saying 2014 will be the year that games are finally released for the PS4?
