Saints Row: The Third & Fourth
Re: Saints Row: The Third
I do hope Volition creates something new after this. Enough Saints Row already!

Definitely don't care at all anymore. The Third was boring and I didn't finish it, and with GTA5 around the corner there's absolutely no point. I have no problem easily putting Saints Row 2 above GTA4, but Volition obviously took things too far losing the charm pushing it through a cheese grater (SR3's map is like a 10th of SR2's?) and Rockstar looks like they noticed how much fun they stripped out of GTA4 compared to the PS2 games and completely fixed that.
GTA5 baby!
So yeah, completely skipping SR4.

Really? I did not notice if it was smaller, but I did notice that it was badly designed. The SR2 map had the underground caverns, the big hill, prison island. In general it had more stuff to do in the map.
SR3 just has an urban setting where every last piece of it has been built.
I'm also excited about GTA5 but I'm feeling I just can't trust Rockstar right now....I will wait till I have a hands on impression

Crackdown 3 was announced at E3

I'm about to start this. I hope the sky mod works on my setup.. I don't like the gloomy skyline in SR4.
Edit - I found sr3_city_0.vpp_pc, sr3_city_1.vpp_pc in the data folder. Seems this uses the same city as SR3. Charging full price for something that could have been an expansion was cheeky. It still goes for $40 on Steam!
