This may have already been brought up but I feel compelled to bring attention to it just in case. Target Canada has some ridiculous prices on Wii U stuff at the moment. I just got a pro controller for $25. They also have wii remotes for $20 and nunchucks for $10. Some games are also on sale.
Are any Americans seeing these sales as well?

I'm still a bit skeptical of how they will be used. The implemenation of them in Smash doesn't sound that exciting but if I can somehow use them to play as Samus in Mario Kart then I'm in. XD

Well we'll be able to use them on 3ds as well so that's a plus(there's a adapter for it for 3ds
)

What I really want to see them do is unlock special costumes and characters in other games. For example in Fire Emblem Wii U you can get Link as an in-game character
. Or in Kirby you can use them to get an instant power-up based on the various characters, which powers are not available in game through other means.

That Kirby idea sounds like a ton of fun.ZeroAX wrote:What I really want to see them do is unlock special costumes and characters in other games. Yeah but the fact we want it like that means we probably won't get it

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I just thought of the most evil use of Amiibos. Getting Mew, Celebii and all the other event Pokemon. Want to catch them all? Pay 5€ for a Mew figure and get him in game
(one use per figure).
But another good idea would be a Pokeball or heck even any random pokemon amiibo, being able to store data for 6 pokemon, and you could take it to a friend's house and battle pokemon on the Wii U version of Pokemon Stadium.

That would be amazing...of course I wonder if those things could store that much data....ZeroAX wrote:But another good idea would be a Pokeball or heck even any random pokemon amiibo, being able to store data for 6 pokemon, and you could take it to a friend's house and battle pokemon on the Wii U version of Pokemon Stadium.
