Though, one wonders why he needed 3 copies of Super Mario World.
Exactly what I was wondering ha ha
Are you guys suggesting that my 2 copies of Super Mario World and 2 copies of Mario World/Allstars combo are superfluous?
In his defense, one of the labels is a different print. Makes me want the re-release cart of Zelda: Link to the Past now. Poor me, I only own 2 copies of the original print .
I saw a friend of mine tonight, we were chatting it up and stuff. We were looking at some of his games they're boxed up, and he hands me Metal Gear Solid 1 and tells me, I know you can't find your copy, so here.
I pointed out that, I was surprised he had a copy of Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn for the Wii, and he's like, why? I explained it's worth a bit, almost $100. It was utterly surprised.
Then he looks at me and goes ... OK, you know what? Here.
And he hands me Radiant Dawn and MGS and says Happy Birthday (My birthday is in a month). Looking through another box he sees he has two copies of Disgaea Infinite on PSP and hands me one of those also.
I ask him if he's absolutely sure, he says yeah just let me borrow it if I ever want to play it. I said absolutely.
Pretty fantastic guy right there. I guess giving people TurboGrafx 16's for Christmas really IS a good idea. (That's not the moral!)

Yeah, 10 bucks.
I asked if she had any more video game stuff and she said that she had a Playstation, so I'm thinking it's the original which I don't care about. But then I see that it's black, but it's upside down so it looks like a PS2. I get up to it and realize it's a PS3, I ask how much and she says $10. I'm downfounded and can't get the money out of my wallet fast enough.
Just stopped into the retro game store and found Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life on GameCube CIB for $4.
Why would she sell a ps3 for $10? Used controllers are more than that. Do you think they get this stuff from people who didn't pay for their storage units like in storage wars? Still she could have sold it for at least $100 and it would be sold in an instant... unless its broken
Garage sale day in the neighborhood. Got a few great camera lenses on the cheap, and this SNES w/ games for only $20! These particular copies of LttP and SMW are among the first games I ever played, while being babysat. great memories.

A quantaray telescoping lens, and some kind of adaptor for canon cameras that they threw in.
