My very small game collection

Post by slowslow325 »

Yes, I do know that my collection is small but most of the games I have just because I enjoy them. When I get bored with all the games I have I will buy more, but until then, here they are:

Consoles: Genesis 2 with box, NES, Nintendo 64, GameCube with Gameboy Player

Handhelds: Gameboy, Gameboy Pocket, 2 Gameboy Colors, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS Lite with box

That may be a small collection, but you have some really fun games in there. Congrats.

you have a lot of nice games, when you start looking to expand you might want to take a look at some more non-nintendo systems.

wanted: Cd-I, Neo Geo AES

I really don't like Microsoft's hardware so if I ever expand it will not be an Xbox. I may get a PS1 or PSX, but I really want to get a SNES or a Dreamcast.

i was def against microsofts hardware, but i did bite the bullet and by the original xbox. but seeing as you are interested at expanding slowly, there is definatley a ton of fun to be had with both the snes and dreamcast when you are ready....

I probably won't even buy a new console for quite some time. I mean, there are so many more games for the NES to be played.

Very nice little collection. We all gotta start somewhere, and besides there is so much of my collection that I have never played. So I'm kind of envious of your restraint.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. Nice collection my man. I see you mentioned maybe wanting a Dreamcast. That system is absolutely amazing.

I would go for both (eventually, like you said you're not looking for the time being). A Dreamcast without games should put you back $20. A Super Nintendo with a few games should be $40 - $50.

It's unfortunate that your other systems were donated behind your back. It's funny how systems populate Goodwill from time to time - ten years ago, Atari's were everywhere. Five years ago, the Atari consoles disappeared and the SNES and Genesis consoles showed up en masse. Now, my local Goodwill has at least four PS1's in stock at any given time, usually for about $6 or so. The desirable retro phase doesn't kick in for consoles right away...
