You know what the real highlight of E3 has been for me thus far?

Finding out that the SNES version of Mega Man X3 is hitting the Wii U Virtual Console.

got to admit, i feel Nintendo has the strongest showing in this years' E3. i never felt that "OMG I GOTTA HAVE IT NOW!" feeling with any of the next gen consoles until now and surprisingly with wii U. I guess being set back really pushes a company to become great.

Good, hopefully SNES copies of MMX3 go down a bit in price...

edit: Oh yeah, and Mario Maker... Shut up and take my money! It's like Nintendo clued in to what ROM hackers have been doing for a while now. We have things like Lunar Magic for SMW, where you can build your own levels relatively easily. An official Nintendo Mario level builder? And you can switch between classic 8-bit style and NSMB style? That's an instant day one purchase for me.
I showed my wife the video for Mario Maker and said "This is awesome. I can make easy levels for our kids so they can learn the basics and get into video gaming easier!" She eyeballs my collection and responded "You don't think our kids will be into video gaming?"

Ha ha that's awesome, would be interesting to see that kind of thing happen...I'm just kinda interested to see what happens with the software. Would be nice if they allowed sharing and everything would be interesting to play levels others make ...

But the real thing I'm having a shut up and take my money moment about is the zelda game. I wish they'd hurry up and put it out. I'm getting sick of waiting for that, guess I'll go back to trying to beat zelda one if I could just stop dieing so freaking much

I want Captain Toad more than I ever thought I could want a video game.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Is Captain Toad gonna be a full retail release? I wonder what else will be in the game, besides Captain Toad levels. Anyway, that's probably gonna be a day 1 or within the first week buy for me.

Yoshi's Wooly World looks awesome, too. It's like a cross between Yoshi's Island and Kirby's Epic Yarn. This will also be a day 1 purchase for me.

That would be nice...with only 8 or 32 gb it really does feel way too expensive though I still want it and will probably purchase it even if it comes directly from nintendo as a refurb

I don't think you guys understand. I want the Captain Toad game in a "Gonna buy the most expensive, BS filled limited edition CE special plus" kind of way. Everytime I found one of those levels in SM3DW, I promptly lost my shit and ran around the house with my arms up making airplane noises. There are no memes sufficient to the task of explaining my excitement.
